The Master plugin receives audio from incoming audio connections and passes the audio on to the audio device. The Master plugin also exposes all active MIDI output devices, and passes on MIDI messages from incoming MIDI connections.
The master can optionally be deleted, and users can choose to use separate plugins for its audio and MIDI capabilities: The Audio Output or Audio Output16 plugins are capable of sending audio to the current audio device. The MIDI Output plugin exposes all active MIDI output devices in the same way the Master does.
